children make too much
racket
in their classrooms
chattering
giggling
all at once,
but I saw
a group of starlings who
crowded
spring treetops
chattering
squawking
all at once,
and they were busy,
they were companions,
they were joyful,
and the sound
was a sign of life.

I love this imagery. I love to listen to happy children chattering and laughing. It does my heart good. There is a time for learning and listening and there's a time for absolutely feral starlings to murmur and fly. Thank you for this. Love, Virg
I really love this — the image of children and starlings is so beautiful. Interested to read more about what you mentioned.
